Four Flat Whites in Italy by Roger Hall

Roger Hall’s hugely successful, sell-out hit comedy is hitting the road in 2017, promising big laughs and nights of fun in 28 venues around the country.

Venice! Rome! Tuscany!

It’s 2007 and guide book in hand, retired librarians Alison and Adrian, are excitedly embarking on their long-awaited (and carefully saved-for) Italian trip of a life-time. But when their best friends pull out at the last minute, they find themselves sharing their precious holiday with their neighbours – Harry, a wealthy plumber and his new wife Judy.

As these delightfully mismatched couples valiantly negotiate the pit-falls of a later-in-life OE it’s not just the Italians the intrepid travellers have to deal with – it’s also each other!

Adrian and Alison have a dark secret that is causing them some strife and Harry, who loves his rugby, has a dream. But there are surprises in store!

Will the trials and tribulations of their cherished Italian sojourn prove a ‘make or break’ for our Kiwi quartet? Will the holiday be heaven or hell, or both?

Blending cracker one-liners with lots of laughs and astute observation FOUR FLAT WHITES IN ITALY is classic Roger Hall, as he again deftly satirizes our manners, morals, loves and lusts in this highly entertaining treat.

This season of FOUR FLAT WHITES sees some fabulous new faces in the line-up, bringing together a great cast of talented Kiwi actors.

Fresh from their sold out tour of Grease, Paul Barrett and Lyndee-Jane Rutherford will be joined by Phil Grieve and Hilary Norris and directed by unstoppable talent, Geraldine Brophy.

Rhys Darby – Mystic Time Bird

It is 2017, a year of global fear. Rhys turns to the world of ancient mysticism in search for some answers. This path unravels some daunting prospects as he discovers his past life story as a trapped bird. What does it mean to be free in another time? Are we truly free in this day and age or is alien technology guiding us to an even greater cage? All this, plus silly dance moves and sound effects. It is a Rhys Darby show after all. Life’s not so bad is it?

Rhys Darby became a household name after starring in the US TV show Flight of the Conchords. Now based in Los Angeles, he regularly performs standup around the world and has starred in many international TV shows such as The X Files, Netflix’s Voltron, TVNZ’s Short Poppies.
